Non Plus Ultra (NPU) is an immersive event planning and property activation company that specializes in adaptive reuse. NPU specializes in acquiring, restoring, and repurposing historic landmark buildings into unique event spaces. Our approach focuses on revitalizing empty, often historic properties, preserving their architectural integrity while transforming them into vibrant venues for a wide array of events like festivals, corporate events, weddings, theater experiences, and much more. With a growing portfolio that includes hosting major events like the Diplo Street Festival and the Direct TV & Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Party, NPU combines economic viability with cultural vibrancy to create spaces that rich in history and visually stunning.

WHAT EXACTLY IS ADAPTIVE REUSE? HOW DOES IT WORK?

Adaptive reuse is the process of repurposing buildings for new uses while preserving their historical and architectural significance. Non Plus Ultra employs this approach by identifying underutilized or abandoned buildings, especially those with unique architectural artistry, and transforming them into event spaces. This involves careful restoration to maintain the building’s character and history, while also making necessary safety improvements. NPU’s process takes into account demographic and economic factors and places a strong emphasis on the cultural and community value of the space. Through adaptive reuse, NPU is able to both preserve historical landmarks and create dynamic, modern event venues that cater to a wide range of functions, from corporate events to cultural festivals.
